CEO and Managing Director

Troy recently joined PPM as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director and brings over 20 years' experience in the Resources and Heavy Industrial Sectors.

Troy is a strategic, solutions-focused Executive with a career demonstrating visionary leadership, evidenced through superior business performance in the Australian mining industry. As former President of Illawarra Coal he has gained deep experience leading teams through significant changes including the demerger with South32 and reshaping the business in response to the recent decline in commodity prices. Troy has extensive major project experience with the most recent being completion of Appin Area 9 project significantly under budget and six months ahead of schedule.

Troy has represented BHPBilliton and South32 as a Board Member of the New South Wales Minerals Council and also Port Kembla Coal Coal Terminal.

Troy has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, a Masters of Business Administration and is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company directors. He has a passion for delivering results and believes that this is an outcome of engaging the right people with the right values. 

Peter Cardillo

Chairman of the Board

Peter’s passion is project management.  He has a first class honours degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Wollongong.  Upon graduating he was awarded the University Medal and the Institution of Engineers Australia prize.  He is a published author and has written and presented numerous technical papers in Australia, Japan and MIT in the USA.  He is experienced in all facets of project engineering and project management covering the commercial, heavy industrial and resource sectors.  As a Project Manager, Peter undertook his first significant project soon after graduating ($10M) and since then the scale of projects under his accountability has steadily grown into the hundreds of millions of dollars.  Peter has undertaken projects throughout Australia and also in the USA. 

Rodney Todhunter


Rod obtained his degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Newcastle in 1986 and has over 20 years experience in the delivery of major projects in heavy industry. Rod has held key roles and managed multi-disciplinary engineering projects in the delivery of projects up to $US500m on both Greenfield and Brownfield sites. Rod has a very broad experience in most aspects of engineering and project delivery in including working for 5 years in the USA.

Henry Martignago


Henry holds certificates in Mechanical, Contract and Construction Engineering and has managed numerous heavy industrial construction projects ranging in value from $50k to $150m. Henry has recently held Construction Management roles for a major steel facility development in Western Sydney, a coal washery upgrade at West Cliff Colliery and currently a Coal Teminal expansion in Port Kembla.

Marc Curci

Senior Project Manager

Marc graduated from the University of Wollongong in 1983 with a degree in electrical engineering and from the Chisolm Institute of Technology in 1986 with a post graduate diploma in Process Computer Systems. Marc has over thirty years experience in a wide range of heavy industries and has worked on many projects in Australia and worldwide. Marc specialises in the management of electrical design and multi-discipline commissioning teams, in the integration of automation systems from the plant floor through to management reporting systems and in design and commissioning of drive control systems.

Rob Youman

Senior Project Manager

Rob completed his Electrical Engineering Degree at the University of Newcastle in 1989 and has experience in the design, integration, project design review, installation & commissioning of automation and drive systems associated with industrial applications including Steel Strip Processing Lines, industrial material processing and steel plant operations.


Stephen McGuire

Senior Project Manager

Professional Mechanical Engineer with over 15 years industrial experience, largely gained through work in various areas of the Port Kembla Steelworks. Having spent a number of years in Townsville & Mackay, Stephen gained valuable materials handling experience in the coal and minerals industries. He is one of only a few to complete a Masters of Engineering Practice (Bulk Solid Handling) and was awarded the A.W. Roberts Award in 2004. Stephen’s role often combines mechanical design & drafting together with project management activities as is typically required for brownfield improvement projects.

Tim Rodwell

Senior Project Manager

Tim completed his Mechanical Engineering degree at the University of Wollongong in 1993 graduating with first class honours. Tim has managed and/or held key roles in numerous projects across the breadth of the steelmaking business particularly in the blast furnace, metal coating, paint line and crane areas. His most recent roles include Lead Mechanical Engineer on the $130m Western Sydney Colorbond Centre and Engineering Manager of the coal terminal upgrade in Port Kembla.

Glen Judd

Senior Project Manager

Glen has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Swinburne University Melbourne.  Since graduating in 1991 Glen has gained a broad range of experience in engineering, construction, commissioning, contract management and commercial roles across Australia and via four separate long term expatriate assignments in Thailand, China (2) and Indonesia.  Recent roles include Construction/Commissioning on a Blast Furnace Reline, Project Controls Manager on $160M brownfield resource processing plant.  Current role is as Project Controls Manager on a major Coal Terminal Upgrade.

Warren Harris

Senior Project Manager

Warren has 10 years' experience in the design and delivery of electrical systems and equipment. Warren is a high productivity, versatile person who can quickly react and meet the challenges. Warren has particular experience in Siemens and Rockwell PLC and HMI systems. Warren has managed installation crews, as well as designed electrical equipment and control systems for heavy and light industrial as well as commercial customers.
