The Ramp Up Team’s work scope are mostly directly/indirectly involved with iron ore mining in the pit to ore processing, ore stacking in the stockyard and finally ore delivery to port via the train load out system. Within the Ramp Up Team, there is also a Business Improvement function led by PPM’s alliance partner Enterprise IS.

Significant improvements in Mine Operations were observed upon the completion of major Ramp Up Projects which ranges from the reduction of train load out time average of 11 hours to 3.5 hours to the increased accuracy of production reporting on a daily basis. The flexibility that PPM provided to the client by varying the project team size and technical capabilities to suit different projects were well received. Also to be noted were the excellent interface with the client and proper project documentation management implemented throughout the project with a complete summary of all work undertaken handed over to the client for future reference.
